Pull two pins and a heavy duty luggage carrier instantly appears to carry those extra suitcases, boxes, sales materials. Even skis or golf clubs! No more looking for a Skycap, airport cart rental, or Bellman. No more tipping. Porter Case is an invisible carrier, a protective carry-on, even a seat. It works equally well with trains, planes, ships or autos. With Porter Case your cart is always there. . . when you need it.

Summary: "Great hard luggage"
Unfortunately I was only able to use this once as Delta Airlines ran over it with a truck (or something like that) the first trip I used this. It could not be repaired so I had to toss it. On the plus side it did what hard luggage is supposed to do as nothing was broken: not my expensive tequila nor my bottle of Cuban rum. The guy at Delta (who cut me a check for the full price of my luggage) said that the luggage did what it was supposed to do: protect my belongings.
My plans had been to use this as carry-on for my trips to Europe and then going from hotel to hotel by train use it as a luggage carrier for my larger items that I checked in (you need to go to the Porter Case website to see how it works). That is the magic of this small suitcase.
One note: when using this you should have a TSA-approved locking strap, unless you get the version that has TSA-approved locks built in. Without the TSA-approved locks built in you cannot lock the luggage -- hence the need for a locking strap. I had found that my suitcase (without the TSA locks built in) would pop open if the non-TSA approved locks were not locked.
